How to Use
Read the guide, create a checklist, study related lessons, then practise with notes, question banks, model papers and past papers.
1. List fixed commitments first
Write school hours, tuition classes, travel time, meals and sleep first. Then place study blocks in the remaining time.
2. Use shorter focused sessions
For most students, 35 to 50 minute study sessions with short breaks work better than very long sessions. Younger students can use shorter blocks.
3. Balance subjects
Do not study only favourite subjects. Allocate extra sessions for weak subjects and keep at least one quick review session for strong subjects.
4. Add practice and correction time
A timetable should include time to mark answers and correct mistakes. Without correction, students repeat the same errors.
